Company Name: Labaid Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Indications of Cardinor 2.5 Tablet

Cardinor 2.5 is a member of the beta-blocker class of drugs. It is used to treat angina (chest pain connected to the heart), hypertension, and irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia). Additionally, it aids in the prevention of migraines, heart attacks, and stroke in the future. In addition, Cardinor 2.5 is used to treat symptoms brought on by an overactive thyroid. It may be prescribed both on its own and in combination with other drugs. The dosage and frequency depend on the ailment you are treating and how serious it is.

Pharmacology of Cardinor 2.5 Tablet

One of the most effective 1 blocker is half bisoprolol. More than any other beta-in bulk paper, it demonstrates the highest level of affinities by the 1 receptor. The heart’s and the vascular smooth muscle’s adrenergic receptor 1 is selectively blocked to lower heart rate and cardiac output, which lowers arterial hypertension. Blockers have an impact on the metabolism of lipids, but in individuals on non-vial 1 blockers, bisoprolol does not alter the cholesterol fractions that include cardioprotective HDL cholesterol throughout the course of long-term treatment.

Dosage & Administration of Cardinor 2.5 Tablet

  • Hypertension: The dose of Bisoprolol must be individualized to the needs of the patient. The usual starting dose is 5 mg once daily. In some patients, 2.5 mg may be an appropriate starting dose. If the antihypertensive effect of 5 mg is inadequate, the dose may be increased to 10 mg and then, if necessary, to 20 mg once daily.
  • Angina: Usually 10 mg once daily (5 mg may be adequate in some patients) max 20 mg daily.
  • Heart Failure: Initially 1.25 mg once daily (in the morning) for 1 week then, if well tolerated, increased to 2.5 mg once daily for 1 week, then 3.75 mg once daily for 1 week, then 5 mg once daily for 4 weeks, then- 7.5 mg once daily for 4 weeks, then 10 mg once daily maximum 10 mg daily.
