Concor belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers. It is used to treat conditions such as high blood pressure, angina, irregular heart rhythms, heart failure, and migraine prevention. Concor also relieves symptoms caused by an overactive thyroid gland. It may be prescribed alone or with other medications.
Concor Tablet is used for the treatment of angina (chest pain due to decreased oxygen supply to the heart muscles) and hypertension (high blood pressure). It can be used alone or in combination with other medications. Concor lowers heart rate by relaxing heart muscles, leading to a decrease in blood pressure.
Concor is contraindicated in patients with conditions such as sick sinus syndrome, symptomatic bradycardia, acute heart failure, severe disturbances of atrioventricular conduction, and shock induced by cardiac function disorders.
