Dancel 2% Cream contains Ketoconazole, which works by stopping the growth of fungi. It blocks the production of a substance called ergosterol, which is essential for the fungi’s cell membrane. Without ergosterol, the cell membrane becomes weak, causing the fungi to die and the infection to clear up.
Dancel 2% Cream is used to manage fungal skin infections. It can be applied to your hands, feet, genital area, trunk, scalp, face, and chest.
It contains an antifungal agent called Ketoconazole, which works by stopping the growth of fungi. Use Dancel 2% Cream as advised by your physician. Apply the required amount of the medicine to the affected skin areas.
Before applying Dancel 2% Cream, inform your doctor if you are using a cream, ointment, or lotion that contains a steroid.
Dancel 2% Cream can be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; however, consult your doctor for advice. Dancel 2% Cream is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age).
