Dexger contains Dexlansoprazole, the R-enantiomer of lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that selectively blocks the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase in gastric parietal cells — the final pathway of gastric acid secretion. Its Dual Delayed Release (DDR) formulation ensures two-phase drug release, creating biphasic plasma concentration peaks that enhance acid control throughout the day. Metabolized in the liver and excreted primarily via urine.
