- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults, children, and adolescents (6 years to less than 18 years)
- Treatment of adult patients with recent heart attack
- Treatment of symptomatic heart failure in adults
Hypertension Symptoms:

Recent Heart Attack Symptoms:
- Blockage of blood flow to the heart muscle

Symptomatic Heart Failure Symptoms: Inadequate pumping of the heart, Shortness of breath, Fatigue, Fast heartbeat
- Valsartan relaxes blood vessels, reduces cardiac output, and lowers blood pressure.
- It blocks the effects of Angiotensin II, a substance in the body causing the narrowing of blood vessels.
- Not recommended for severe liver disease.
- Use with caution in patients with kidney, liver, and heart problems.
