Diproxen 250 Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine that belongs to the NSAID group. It helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions. It is commonly prescribed for joint, muscle, and tendon pain, and is effective in managing conditions such as arthritis, gout, migraine, and ankylosing spondylitis. In women, it can be used to relieve pain during heavy or painful periods or pain related to IUD insertion. It also plays a role in treating juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children.
Use Diproxen 250 with caution in patients who:
- Have a history of asthma, hay fever, or allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of the face, lips, or tongue)
- Suffer from kidney or liver dysfunction
- Have high blood pressure, heart disease, or history of stroke
- Experience blood clotting issues or circulatory problems
- Are elderly or children over 5 years old (use under medical supervision)
Diproxen 250 is not recommended in patients with:
- Severe liver or kidney impairment
- Heart failure
- Late pregnancy (last trimester) due to potential harm to the fetus
