(Amlodipine + Olmesartan Medoxomil)-(5mg+20mg) is used in the treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure).

Duopres 5/20mg Tablet is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure. It contains Olmesartan (angiotensin receptor blocker) and Amlodipine (calcium channel blocker). Olmesartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin, while Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels and reduces the heart’s workload.

You can take Duopres 5/20mg Tablet with or without food, as advised by your doctor. Common side effects include headaches, drowsiness, ankle swelling, nausea, and dizziness. It’s important not to stop the medication abruptly; consult your doctor for guidance.

Inform your doctor about your medical history, especially kidney, liver, heart issues, or diabetes. Duopres 5/20mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy or for children under 12. Avoid it if you have low blood pressure or cardiogenic shock. Grapefruit juice and St. John’s wort should be avoided.
