Elagolic is prescribed for the treatment of:
- Moderate to severe pain caused by endometriosis
Elagolix blocks GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, reducing the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This leads to decreased production of ovarian hormones such as estrogen and progesterone, helping reduce endometriosis-related pain and inflammation.
Regular medical monitoring may be recommended during treatment to assess safety and effectiveness.
Elagolic 200 mg Tablet contains elagolix, an oral gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor antagonist used to manage moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis.
