The Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) is used for active immunization against hepatitis B infection in individuals of all ages.

The vaccine is administered intramuscularly. For older children and adolescents, it is given in the deltoid muscle. For neonates, infants, and small children, the anterolateral thigh is preferred. The vaccine should not be administered intravenously or intradermally.Â
