Indications of Enterogermina

This medication is a probiotic agent used to treat children’s diarrhea. It boosts children’s immunity and improves their intestinal health. It is also effective in the treatment of chronic diarrhea in adults. Bacillus Clausii, found in Enterogermina, aids in the maintenance and restoration of intestinal bacterial flora. It also aids in the treatment of hypovitaminosis, a condition characterized by an imbalance in vitamin production or absorption in the body.

It improves nutrient absorption by increasing the number of good bacteria in the intestine. It also helps people who have flatulence and gastrointestinal issues such as irregular bowel movements.

Pharmacology

Bacillus clausii spores are a useful probiotic, which can be used to control the imbalance of intestinal flora caused by various reasons. The possible presence of visible particles in the Enterogermina vial is due to the accumulation of spores of Bacillus clausii and does not indicate a change in the product.

Dosage

• Adults: 2 to 3 mini bottles per day
• Children: 1–2 mini bottles per day
• Infants: 1 to 2 mini bottles per day

Do not exceed the recommended doses without consulting a physician. Bacillus clausii spores are available in 5 ml mini bottles in the form of an oral suspension in water. One pack contains ten mini bottles that are ready to drink. If you are taking this along with antibiotics, make sure there is a time gap of at least 2 hours for effective results.

There are no reports of any side effects with Enterogermina. However, it is important to report any adverse effects.

Precautions & Warnings

• Do not take more than the recommended dose.
• Before using, carefully read the label.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Keep an eye out for the expiration date.
• During antibiotic treatment, the product should be administered within the interval between one antibiotic dose and the next.
• If your condition worsens after 23 days of use, contact your doctor.

Storage Conditions

The unopened vial of Enterogermina is stable for 24 months. Do not use Enterogermina after the expiry date on the label. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.  Keep out of the reach of children.
