Description

Erenzo contains roxadustat, a first-in-class, orally administered HIF-PH inhibitor. It promotes erythropoiesis by:

  1. Increasing endogenous erythropoietin (EPO) production.
  2. Improving iron regulation.
  3. Counteracting the suppressive effects of inflammation on hemoglobin synthesis and red blood cell production by reducing hepcidin levels.
