Esolok Mups 20

  • Usual adult dose: 40 mg once daily
  • GERD or erosive esophagitis: 40 mg daily for 4 weeks; treatment may continue for another 4 weeks if necessary
  • Children aged 12 years and above: 40 mg once daily as advised by a physician
  • In severe liver impairment, the dose should generally not exceed 20 mg daily

Esolok Mups 20 contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) commonly used to relieve symptoms associated with excessive stomach acid production. It is widely prescribed for conditions such as acid reflux, chronic acidity, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

By reducing acid secretion in the stomach, Esolok Mups 20mg helps heal damaged tissues in the stomach and esophagus while improving digestive comfort and reducing symptoms like heartburn, regurgitation, and stomach irritation.

This medicine is generally suitable for adults and may also be used cautiously in elderly patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals with liver or kidney problems under proper medical supervision.
