Dydrogesterone is a synthetic progesterone. It works by mimicking the effects of the natural hormone progesterone, which helps to balance hormones and relieve associated symptoms. Estradiol is a semi-synthetic version of the hormone estrogen present in the body of females. Its action is identical to that of biological estrogen. It binds to estrogen receptors and exhibits a beneficial effect on bone density, while also inhibiting bone resorption associated with osteoporosis in menopausal women.
