Permethrin is used in the treatment of scabies and head lice.
Treatment of infections caused by eggs, lice, and mites, primarily pediculosis (lice infestation) and scabies (mite infestation).
- Pediculosis: Infestation of lice in hairy body parts, especially the scalp. Common in children above five years, spreads through head-to-head contact.
- Scabies: A skin infection caused by mites, contagious through physical contact. Symptoms include rashes and persistent itching, often worsening at night.
Kills mites and their eggs causing scabies, and head lice, alleviating irritation. Exclusively for external use. Apply to clean, dry infected areas. May include redness, rash, burning sensation, and itching. Avoid if allergic to Permethrin, chrysanthemums, or any component in Permethrin. Consult a doctor before use in children under six, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers. Keep the infected area clean and dry before application.
