Indica-G DPI combines two long-acting bronchodilators that work through different mechanisms to improve airflow.
- Indacaterol is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). It stimulates beta2 receptors in the airway smooth muscles, increasing cyclic AMP levels. This relaxes the bronchial muscles and helps keep the airways open while reducing the release of inflammatory mediators.
- Glycopyrronium is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA). It blocks M3 muscarinic receptors in the airway smooth muscles, preventing bronchoconstriction and promoting sustained bronchodilation.
Together, these two medicines improve lung function, reduce airflow limitation, and help control COPD symptoms.
Indica-G DPI Capsule (50 mcg + 110 mcg) is a combination inhalation medicine indicated for the long-term, once-daily maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction in adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It is intended for regular maintenance therapy and should not be used for sudden episodes of bronchospasm or acute breathing difficulty. This medicine is not indicated for the treatment of asthma.
