Ingovax ACWY is indicated for the active immunization of:

  • Children aged 2 years and above, adolescents, and adults against meningococcal disease caused by serogroups A, C, W135, and Y.
  • Individuals living in closed communities or in close contact with patients affected by meningococcal disease caused by these serogroups.
  • Travelers visiting regions where the disease is endemic or epidemic.

The vaccine induces the production of anti-capsular meningococcal antibodies, which protect against meningococcal disease through complement-mediated bactericidal activity. It is effective against serogroups A, C, W135, and Y when measured by bactericidal assays (rSBA or SBA).

Ingovax ACWY is indicated for active immunization against invasive meningococcal disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, C, W135, and Y. It is suitable for individuals from the age of 6 weeks.
