This action blocks ergosterol synthesis, a crucial component of the fungal cell membrane. Luliconazole exhibits strong fungicidal activity against dermatophytes, Candida albicans, Malassezia spp, Trichophyton, and Epidermophyton spp both in-vitro and in-vivo.
