Iventi 400mg Tablet is primarily prescribed for the treatment of mild to moderate community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and acute bacterial sinusitis.
Moxifloxacin is indicated for the treatment of adults (>18 years of age) with infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below-Â
- Acute Bacterial Sinusitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus infuenzae or Moraxella catarrhalis.
- Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus infuenzae, Haemophilus parainfuenzae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus or Moraxella catarrhalis
- Community Acquired Pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae (including multi-drug resistant strains), Haemophilus infuenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae or Chlamydophilia pneumoniae.
- Uncomplicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections caused by methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pyogen.
- Complicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections caused by methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae or Enterobacter cloacae.
- Complicated Intra-Abdominal Infections including polymicrobial infections such as abscess caused by Escherichia coli, Bacteroides fragilis, Streptococcus anginosus, Streptococcus constellatus, Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus mirabilis, Clostridium perfringens, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron or Peptostreptococcus species.
The active ingredient in Iventi 400mg Tablet 6’s is Moxifloxacin, which acts as a bactericidal agent.
It is important to take Iventi 400mg Tablet 6’s as prescribed by your doctor, both in terms of dosage and duration. It is generally recommended to take the medication with food and at a fixed time to achieve the maximum therapeutic effect.Â
Do not discontinue the medication abruptly, as it may lead to undesirable side effects. Inform your doctor if you have any lung disease, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), sleep disorders (sleep apnea), severe liver disease, or if you have issues with alcohol or other recreational drugs. If you are planning to conceive, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding, inform your doctor before taking Iventi 400mg Tablet 6’s.
Before taking Iventi 400mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have or have had myasthenia gravis, diabetes, epilepsy, or any mental disorders.
Please note that Iventi 400mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. In elderly patients with renal impairment, caution should be exercised, and it is advisable to consult your doctor before taking the medication.
