In children under 6 years of age, the tablet may be crushed before administration. Dispersible tablets should be dissolved in the recommended amount of water and consumed immediately. Dosage and treatment duration depend on the patient’s age, body weight, and clinical condition. Food should be avoided 2 hours before and after taking the medicine.
Ivtin 12 mg Tablet contains Ivermectin, an antiparasitic agent used for the treatment of various parasitic infections. It is indicated for the management of intestinal strongyloidiasis, lymphatic filariasis caused by Wuchereria bancrofti, onchocerciasis (river blindness), and human scabies when prior treatments have failed.
