Levalbuterol, commonly referred to as “Levosalbutamol,” is present in Levostar Syrup. A bronchodilator, such as levosalbutamol, relaxes the muscles in the airways to improve lung airflow. By enlarging the airways, Levostar Syrup facilitates breathing.
- Levostar Syrup includes Levosalbutamol, a member of the class of drugs known as bronchodilators. It is intended for the management or prevention of bronchospasm (constriction of the airways) in reversible obstructive airway disease in adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 to 11 years.
- Before beginning treatment with Levostar Syrup, your doctor may ask you to participate in a number of diagnostic tests.
- Patients with heart conditions (coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias, high blood pressure), renal illnesses, epilepsy, an overactive thyroid gland, and diabetes should use it with caution.
