Lipidof 200 Capsule contains Fenofibrate, a lipid-lowering medicine used to treat high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia), high triglycerides (hypertriglyceridemia), and mixed dyslipidemia. It helps reduce LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglyceride levels while increasing HDL (“good”) cholesterol, lowering the risk of cardiovascular complications such as heart attack and stroke.

Lipidof 200 should be used alongside a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced diet, regular exercise, weight management, smoking cessation, and limiting alcohol intake. Continue taking the medicine as prescribed, even if you feel well, since high cholesterol often has no symptoms.

Recommended Dosage

Adults

• Capsule: 200 mg once daily with food.
• Tablet formulations: 40–160 mg once daily, depending on the prescribed strength.

Children

• Safety and effectiveness have not been established.

Renal Impairment

• Mild to moderate kidney impairment: Lower starting doses may be required.
• Severe renal impairment: Contraindicated.

Hepatic Impairment

Missed Dose
