Anxiety is an emotion that is characterized by feelings of tension, worried and intrusive thoughts, and physical changes like increased blood pressure, sweating, trembling, and dizziness. Your doctor might ask you to make some lifestyle changes such as having healthy sleeping and eating habits, managing stress, and meditation.
Lozicum 1 contains Lorazepam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antianxiety agents. It is used to manage anxiety or sleeping difficulties due to anxiety which significantly affects routine life. Lozicum 1 can also be used as a sedative before any operative dental management or surgery.
Lozicum 1 is not recommended for use in patients having lung or liver diseases, myasthenia gravis (very weak or tired muscles), and sleep apnoea (breathing problems while sleeping). It should be used with caution in patients who have kidney diseases, habitual excessive use of drugs or alcohol, personality disorders, depression, history of psychotic illness, history of convulsions, and glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).
Lozicum 1 should be used with caution in pregnant women. Lozicum 1 is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Lozicum 1 should be used with caution in elderly patients. Lozicum 1 should not be used in children below 5 years of age.
