Lubistone is used for the treatment of the following conditions:

Lubiprostone is a chloride channel activator that increases intestinal fluid secretion, promoting bowel movements without affecting sodium and potassium levels in the blood. It activates ClC-2 channels on the intestinal lining, improving stool passage and relieving constipation symptoms.
