Lulitop Cream is used for the treatment of tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and interdigital tinea pedis (athlete’s foot).
Lulitop Cream 10gm belongs to the imidazole antifungal class. It disrupts the fungal cell membrane by inhibiting the enzyme 14-alpha demethylase, which is essential for ergosterol production. Without ergosterol, the fungal cell membrane becomes unstable, leading to leakage of cellular contents and the eventual death of the fungus.
The cream should be applied as directed by your doctor, following the recommended dose and duration. Regular use is essential for effective results. Using more than prescribed will not speed up recovery and may increase the risk of side effects. Most skin infections improve within 2 to 4 weeks, but if there is no improvement, consult your doctor. Keeping the affected area clean and dry enhances the medicine’s effectiveness. If treating athlete’s foot, maintain proper foot hygiene by changing socks daily and keeping shoes clean.
