- Lumona 4 FT Tablet contains Montelukast, which belongs to a group of medicines known as Leukotriene Receptor Antagonists. - Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition characterized by inflammation, swelling, and narrowing of the airways. It leads to symptoms such as wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest pain, and coughing due to increased mucus production, making it harder for air to pass through.
- Seasonal allergic rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever, is an allergic condition triggered by exposure to allergens like pollen, dust, mold, or animal dander. It causes inflammation of the nasal lining, resulting in symptoms like nasal congestion, repeated sneezing, and red, watery, or itchy eyes.
- Lumona 4 FT Tablet can only prevent asthma attacks; it cannot stop an ongoing asthma attack. Therefore, it’s important to always carry a rescue inhaler for immediate relief during an asthma attack.
- Follow your doctor’s prescribed duration of treatment with Lumona 4 FT Tablet to achieve better control over your symptoms. Inform your doctor if you have any allergies to montelukast or any pre-existing medical conditions before taking the medication.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your doctor before taking Lumona 4 FT Tablet as a precautionary measure. The most common side effects of this medication include stomach pain, headache, upper respiratory tract infections, skin rash, nausea, and vomiting. If any of these side effects bother you, consult your doctor.
