Marincal-D Tablet contains a combination of Calcium and Vitamin D3 (500mg+200IU) (also known as cholecalciferol/cholecalciferol). It is used to treat vitamin D and calcium deficiency. It is used for conditions such as osteoporosis and helps in maintaining healthy bones and teeth.Â
Marincal-D Tablet is primarily used as a calcium and vitamin D3 supplement to address deficiency states such as rickets, osteoporosis (reduced bone density), and osteomalacia (bone weakness). Its active ingredients are Vitamin D3 and Calcium Carbonate.
Vitamin D3 and Calcium Carbonate work together to strengthen bones. Vitamin D3 aids in the absorption of calcium from the intestine reduces parathyroid hormone levels and enhances the quality and quantity of bone formation. Calcium, on the other hand, plays a crucial role in the process of bone formation and mineralization.
The usual recommended dosage of Marincal-D Tablet is 1-2 tablets per day, or as directed by your doctor. However, it is important to note some contraindications and precautions:
- Do not take Marincal-D tablets if you have kidney stones, kidney failure, or hypervitaminosis D (excess levels of Vitamin D).
