Maxpro Mups 20 is a medication that lessens the quantity of acid your stomach produces. Heartburn, Acid reflux, and issues with your food pipe are all treated with it. Maxpro Mups 20 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor.
- Esomeprazole is used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions associated with excess stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Esomeprazole is also used to help heal erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid).
- Esomeprazole may also be used to prevent stomach ulcers caused by infection with the bacteria Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) or by using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Esomeprazole is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
