Mexiderm-N is indicated for the treatment of superficial skin infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is also beneficial in managing:
- Burns and wound healing (promotes new skin regeneration)
- Ulcerations
- Otitis externa
- Postoperative infections
- Neurodermatitis and eczema
Mexiderm-N combines two potent therapeutic agents:
- Betamethasone, a topical corticosteroid with strong anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties, offers rapid relief in inflammatory dermatoses such as psoriasis.
- Neomycin Sulfate, a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Proteus vulgaris and Staphylococcus aureus.
This formulation ensures effective penetration and even distribution, making it suitable for hair-bearing and intertriginous areas, as well as for moist ulcerative skin conditions.
