Description

Netario is indicated to lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients diagnosed with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

  • The recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.

Netarsudil, the active ingredient in Netario, is a Rho kinase (ROCK) inhibitor. It works at the cellular level within the trabecular meshwork to relax actin-myosin contractility. This relaxation enhances aqueous humor outflow through the trabecular pathway and lowers episcleral venous pressure (EVP), ultimately reducing intraocular pressure.
