- This medicine may not be effective for treating diarrhea caused by C. parvum in HIV-infected or immunodeficient patients.
- Before taking Nitazoxanide, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or biliary problems.
- Use Nitazoxanide with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as safety data in these populations has not been established.
- Not recommended for use in children under 11 years of age. Use with caution in elderly patients above 65 years of age.
