Norethisterone is used in heavy menstrual bleeding, pain during menstruation, endometriosis, and Premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
Noteron 5mg Tablet contains Norethisterone, a progestogen used to manage:
- Heavy or abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance
- Painful periods (dysmenorrhea)
- Irregular or frequent periods (polymenorrhoea)
- Premenstrual tension
- Endometriosis
- Metropathia hemorrhagic (intermenstrual bleeding)
- Breast cancer
- Delaying the menstrual cycle
Noteron 5mg Tablet should not be used in patients with:
- Pulmonary embolism
- Liver disease
- Myocardial infarction or angina
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Pregnancy
Use with caution in patients with:
- Asthma
- Kidney disease
- Seizures
- Migraine headaches
- Breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
- Report any mood changes or depressive symptoms to your doctor immediately.
Not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm the developing baby. Use with caution while breastfeeding as it may pass into breast milk.
