- Before using Hypromellose, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components. To avoid contamination, avoid touching the tip of the eye drops or gel container, and make sure to replace the cap tightly after each use. Do not use the solution if it has changed color or appears cloudy. Always use the medication before the expiration date. Do not change or stop the dosage without consulting your doctor.
