Orcical Tablet is mainly used to prevent or treat low calcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diet. It is beneficial in conditions such as:

  • Osteoporosis (postmenopausal, senile, juvenile, or drug-induced)
  • Osteomalacia & rickets
  • Latent tetany & hypoparathyroidism
  • Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
  • Pregnancy & lactation (higher calcium demand)
  • After hip joint surgery

Prevention of bone loss due to medications like phenytoin, phenobarbital, or prednisone

Orcical contains Calcium Orotate, a form of calcium bound with orotic acid.

Orotic acid helps calcium cross cell membranes more efficiently, supporting bone mineralization, cartilage health, and DNA/RNA synthesis.

This makes it more bioavailable compared to many other calcium supplements.

  • Calcium Orotate 400 mg: 2–3 tablets daily with meals
