Ethinyl Estradiol + Lynestrenol
- Take Ovostat Gold at the same time every day as instructed.
- Begin taking the pill on the first day of your menstrual cycle. If starting between days 2-5, use additional contraception (e.g., condoms) for the first seven days.
- Take one pill daily for 22 consecutive days, followed by a six-day pill-free interval.
- Your menstrual period will occur within these six days, possibly continuing into the next pack.
- Even if menstruation is ongoing, start the next pack on the seventh day.
- Continue this cycle as long as pregnancy prevention is desired.
Lynestrenol and Ethinylestradiol are combined oral contraceptive pills used to prevent pregnancy.
Certain medications, such as ampicillin, tetracyclines, barbiturates, hydantoins, primidone, carbamazepine, and rifampicin, may reduce the pill’s effectiveness.
If additional medication is required while on the pill, consult a doctor to ensure contraceptive efficacy is maintained.
