Oxizol topical preparation is used for the treatment of various fungal skin infections, including tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm), caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, or Epidermophyton floccosum. It is also indicated for the treatment of tinea (pityriasis) versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur. Use under the guidance of a registered physician.
Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another). Oxizol 1% Cream contains Oxiconazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It is used in the topical management of fungal skin infections (such as athlete’s foot, Jock itch, ringworm infection, and pityriasis versicolor (small, discolored patches on the skin)).
Oxizol 1% Cream is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and apply it to the affected skin areas. Do not cover the affected areas after applying this medicine.

Before using Oxizol 1% Cream inform your doctor if you are allergic to oxiconazole. You must also inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution.
