Parasoft is used as a general emollient for the symptomatic relief of dry skin conditions. Always apply in the direction of hair growth to minimize the risk of folliculitis.
Parasoft contains White Soft Paraffin and Liquid Paraffin, both of which act as occlusive emollients. They form a protective barrier on the skin surface, reducing water loss and maintaining hydration. Although there is no significant systemic absorption, both agents provide substantial penetration into the stratum corneum, thereby helping to restore the skin’s moisture balance.
