Description

Paricel 10 contains Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).
It blocks the gastric proton pump enzyme (H⁺/K⁺-ATPase) in the stomach lining, reducing acid secretion at the final step. This:

  • Prevents reflux into the esophagus
  • Promotes ulcer healing
  • Reduces recurrence of acid-related damage

Paricel 10 is used for the management of:

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Chronic reflux of stomach acid causing heartburn, chest pain, nausea, and a lump-in-throat sensation.
  • Peptic Ulcers: Painful sores in the stomach, esophagus, or intestines leading to abdominal pain, indigestion, bloating, or fatigue.
  • Zollinger–Ellison Syndrome: Rare pancreatic/gastric tumors causing excessive acid secretion.
