- Adjusting levels of neurotransmitters in the brain helps improve movement and reduce symptoms associated with muscle rigidity.
- It is recommended to take Procyclidine with food to minimize stomach upset.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and duration of use. Do not stop taking Procyclidine without consulting your doctor, as sudden discontinuation could worsen symptoms.
- Do not use Procyclidine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor. The effects on the fetus or infant are not well-studied.
- Procyclidine may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you are sure you are alert.
- Avoid alcohol while taking Procyclidine as it may enhance drowsiness and dizziness.
- The safety and effectiveness of Procyclidine in children have not been established. It is not recommended for use in pediatric patients.
