Premarin Conjugated Estrogen Vaginal Cream, containing Conjugated estrogens in the Hormone Replacement Therapy category, is used to address vaginal symptoms like itching, inflammation, dryness, and thinning due to estrogen deficiency (atrophic vaginitis). It also targets itching and inflammation in the genital area, such as the vulva and vaginal orifice (kraurosis vulvae), and aids in alleviating moderate to severe dyspareunia arising from menopause-related genital pain.

• Conjugated estrogen, a synthetic version of the female hormone estrogen, counteracts estrogen deficiency by maintaining adequate estrogen levels. This prevents dryness, thinning, inflammation, and itchiness, and reduces genital pain.
• Throughout Premarin Cream treatment, periodic blood tests and breast examinations are advised to monitor potential side effects.
• Avoid using Premarin Cream if you’ve had breast/uterine cancer, unexplained vaginal bleeding, heart issues, or blood clots. Inform your doctor about liver/kidney problems, diabetes, migraine, asthma, or epilepsy before usage.
• This medication isn’t suitable for pregnant/breastfeeding women or children under 18. Common side effects may include stomach/back pain, breast pain/tenderness, headache, and vaginal infection/discharge. Consult your doctor if these worsen.
