Description

Ravu™ 100 Capsule – Antifungal Treatment for Onychomycosis. Each capsule contains Fosravuconazole L-Lysine Ethanolate INN, equivalent to 100 mg of Ravuconazole.

Fosravuconazole L-lysine ethanolate is a prodrug of Ravuconazole, a novel triazole antifungal agent with broad-spectrum and potent antifungal activity. It works by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis, a key component of fungal cell membranes. Structurally related to fluconazole and voriconazole, it contains a thiazole instead of a second triazole.

Ravuconazole is effective against:

  • Aspergillus species (including A. fumigatus & A. flavus)
  • Candida species
  • Cryptococcus neoformans
  • Fluconazole-resistant fungal strains
