Reef-DX tablet is indicated for the treatment & prevention of-
- Osteoporosis
- Osteomalacia
- Tetany
- Hypoparathyroidism
- Disorders of osteogenesis.
Reef-DX helps prevent and treat osteoporosis and related fractures, supports healthy bones, and improves calcium absorption with the help of vitamin D3.
Calcium is essential for bone strength and many body functions.
Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium and stimulates bone formation.
Coral calcium is chemically similar to human bone, ensuring better absorption.
1 tablet once or twice daily with plenty of water, preferably after a full meal.
Some medicines can interfere, such as:
- Thiazide diuretics (may raise calcium levels)
- Corticosteroids (may reduce calcium absorption)
- Tetracyclines, bisphosphonates, sodium fluoride (take at least 2–6 hours apart)
- Ion exchange resins, paraffin oil (reduces vitamin D absorption)
Avoid taking near meals high in spinach, rhubarb, or whole cereals (they contain oxalic/phytic acid).
