Resco 1 is prescribed to treat:
- Schizophrenia – a mental disorder that may cause hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking.
- Mania – extreme excitement, overactivity, or irritability, often in bipolar disorder.
It may also be used in other conditions as advised by your doctor.
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day.
- If prescribed as an oral film/strip, do not handle with wet hands—place it in your mouth and let it dissolve, don’t swallow whole.
- Do not stop suddenly unless your doctor advises—it can worsen your symptoms.
- Take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double up to make up for a missed dose.
- Use only if your doctor decides the benefits outweigh the risks. Resco 1 passes into breast milk—avoid nursing unless advised otherwise.
