Levofloxacin is used to treat infections such as acute sinusitis, lung infections (including long-term breathing problems and pneumonia), urinary tract infections (involving the kidneys and bladder), prostate gland infections, and skin and soft tissue infections, which can also affect the muscles. Furthermore, this medication is employed to lower the risk of contracting anthrax (pulmonary disease) or experiencing its exacerbation following exposure to anthrax-causing bacteria.

Trevox 750mg Tablet is an antibiotic medication containing Levofloxacin, which falls under the category of antibiotics. It is used to treat various infections in individuals, including:

  1. Acute sinusitis
  2. Lung infections (such as long-term breathing problems or pneumonia)
  3. Urinary tract infections (including kidney and bladder infections)
  4. Prostate gland infections
  5. Skin and soft tissue infections (including muscle infections)

Additionally, it can be used to reduce the risk of developing anthrax (pulmonary disease) or worsening of the condition after exposure to anthrax-causing bacteria.

  • Allergic reactions to levofloxacin or other quinolone antibiotics like moxifloxacin, ciprofloxacin, or ofloxacin.
  • Epilepsy (seizures)
  • Tendinitis (inflammation or irritation of tendons)

Before taking Trevox 750mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have a history of or are currently dealing with:

  • Brain damage due to stroke or other brain injuries
  • Diabetes
  • Myasthenia gravis (a long-term neuromuscular junction disease)
  • Aneurysm (a condition arising from the bulging or enlargement of a large blood vessel)
  • Organ transplantation
  • Heart problems (including very slow heart rhythm, weak heart, myocardial infarction)
  • Kidney problems
  • Liver problems

This medication is not recommended during pregnancy or in women planning to become pregnant. It is also not recommended for use during breastfeeding.

Trevox 750mg Tablet is not intended for use in children and adolescents under the age of 18. However, in elderly patients over the age of 60, it can be used with caution after consulting with a doctor.
