Clindamycin+Tretinoin gel is indicated for the topical treatment of Acne vulgaris.
- Trunac Gel, a combination of Clindamycin and Tretinoin, is indicated for the management of acne in adults and adolescents aged 12 years or older.
- Clindamycin: A topical antibiotic that stops the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.
- Tretinoin: A synthetic vitamin A derivative that prevents skin pores from getting clogged with sebum and dead skin cells. It removes dead skin cells clogging hair follicles and helps the skin renew more quickly.
- Trunac Gel is for topical use only. Apply to affected areas as directed by your doctor.
- Avoid using inflamed, irritated, or sensitive skin areas.
- Do not use cosmetics or makeup products before applying Trunac Gel.
- Trunac Gel may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when going outdoors.
- Inform your doctor if you have other skin conditions (e.g., rosacea, eczema), gut problems (e.g., ulcerative colitis), or a family history of skin cancer.
- Trunac Gel is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Women of childbearing age must use suitable contraception to avoid pregnancy during therapy with Trunac Gel.
