TTvax vaccine is used to prevent tetanus in individuals 7 years of age or older, including those at high risk of exposure such as gardeners, athletes, and farm workers. It is also recommended for women of childbearing age to prevent neonatal tetanus. Additionally, it can be administered following injury to prevent tetanus infection.
HIV Infection: TTvax can be administered to children with HIV, both symptomatic and asymptomatic, without increased risk of adverse reactions.
