Utramal 50mg Capsule includes Tramadol, which belongs to the Opioid class of medications. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain (such as pain after an operation or an injury) in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older.
Utramal 50mg Capsule is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver or kidney insufficiency, seizures (fits) that are not controlled by treatment, those who have consumed alcohol, withdrawal symptoms due to drug addiction, or those who have accidentally consumed an excessive dose of sleeping pills, antipsychotics, antidepressants, or other pain relievers (which can slow down breathing and reactions).
Tramadol is used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain conditions. These include:
- Postoperative pain
- Colic and spastic pain
- Cancer pain
- Joint pain
- Neck and back pain
- Pain associated with osteoporosis.
