- Xyflo 10 Tablets are anti-allergic medications that are generally used to treat seasonal allergies and asthma. An allergy is a reaction of your immune system to a foreign material that is usually not damaging to your body. These alien substances are referred to as ‘allergens.’ Asthma is a local inflammatory illness of the lungs and airways characterized by increased airway constriction and the production of additional mucus in response to particular stimuli such as viruses, allergens, and exercise. Montelukast, a leukotriene antagonist, is included in Xyflo 10. It lowers inflammation and swelling of the lungs’ airways by inhibiting a chemical messenger (leukotriene).
- This improves breathing and reduces asthma episodes. When you have an allergic reaction to anything, such as dust or pollen, leukotrienes are produced in your body. Xyflo 10 helps to lower the number of leukotrienes and prevents symptoms.
