Zivent MR 35
- Angina pectoris (heart-related chest pain)
- Ischemic heart disease
- Coronary artery disease
Zivent MR 35 acts by reducing the oxygen demand of the heart muscle. It changes the heart’s metabolism from fatty acid utilization to glucose metabolism, which requires less oxygen. As a result, the heart functions more efficiently and symptoms of angina are reduced.
Zivent MR 35 is indicated for the management of angina pectoris and other ischemic heart conditions. It helps reduce episodes of chest pain caused by reduced blood supply to the heart and improves the heart’s ability to function efficiently. It is used for long-term prevention of angina attacks and may be prescribed alone or together with other anti-anginal medicines.
Zivent MR 35 contains Trimetazidine, a metabolic anti-ischemic agent that improves the energy metabolism of heart cells during reduced oxygen supply. It shifts cardiac energy production from fatty acid metabolism to glucose oxidation, allowing the heart to use oxygen more efficiently. This helps maintain cellular energy balance, reduces acidosis and free radical formation, and protects heart cells from ischemic damage.
