Pioglitazone is used in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients to improve their blood sugar levels, along with diet and exercise.
- Actose 15mg Tablet contains Pioglitazone, an Antidiabetic agent. It’s used for Type II diabetes when other treatments don’t suffice.
- Type II diabetes causes high blood glucose due to inadequate insulin or cell sensitivity. Actose 15mg Tablet helps, alongside diet and lifestyle changes. Avoid smoking and alcohol during treatment.
- Not for ketoacidosis or bladder cancer patients. Also, not for those with bloody urine, or severe liver/heart issues.
- Prior to use, inform about eye/menstrual issues. Avoid if pregnant/breastfeeding unless prescribed.
- Common side effects: hypoglycemia (low sugar), seen as hunger, sweating, and shakiness. Regular blood sugar monitoring is needed. Carry sugary snacks. Other effects include abnormal vision, headache, dizziness, weight gain, numbness, joint pain, impotence, back pain, shortness of breath, and anemia. Consult if worsened.
