Tyza M Gel 10g Tube

Tyza M Gel is used to treat various skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, dermatitis (itchy, dry skin or rash), and tinea versicolor (lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, and arms, or legs). It contains Mometasone and Terbinafine, which kill fungus and block the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. Mometasone effectively treats the inflammation and itchiness associated with eczema and psoriasis. It has common side effects, including skin peeling, itching, irritation, dryness, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site.   
 

Tyza M Gel is composed of two medicines: Mometasone (corticosteroid) and Terbinafine (antifungal). Mometasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids. Corticosteroids have anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and antiproliferative (inhibit cell growth) properties. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that cause the affected area to become red, swollen, and itchy. Mometasone effectively treats the inflammation and itchiness associated with eczema and psoriasis. On the other hand, Terbinafine is an antifungal medication that treats fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane (a compound present in fungi to maintain cell integrity), resulting in fungal cell death.
